Purse-Snatchers Strike As Woman Leaves Herndon Bank: Police
Police say two men jumped a woman as she left a bank, running off with her purse.

HERNDON, VA -- A woman was startled by two men who grabbed her purse and ran as she left a bank in Herndon, police say.
The woman was leaving a bank in the 1000 block of Alabama Drive on Dec. 28 when "she was approached by two men who took her purse and ran off," according to a report from the Herndon Police Department. The report does not list the bank, but there is a Wells Fargo in that general area.
The men did not display a woman or use any intimidation or force, the report adds.

"The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash, various forms of identification and insurance cards, as well as bank cards," police say.
