Spring, Summer Camp Registration Open At Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa

Registration is now open at Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa in Herndon for spring break and summer sports activity camps.

HERNDON, VA —Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa in Herndon has a solution for parents looking for activities to keep their children busy during the spring and summer breaks, according to a release.

The fitness center located at 13037 Worldgate Drive is hosting spring break camps, providing a full day of sports-related activities for children ages 5-12. Half-day programs are also available.

“We are so excited to partner with Worldgate in creating these camps. This provides a great way for children throughout the D.C. region to stay connected with sports over spring and summer breaks and to stay active,” said Jason Wnuk, COO of Blue Chip Sports Management, which will operate the spring break camps at Worldgate. “Our camps are also ideal in the fact that they’re held in an indoor controlled environment.”

To accommodate the spring breaks of Fairfax and Loudoun counties, the camps are available either April 4-8 or April 11-15, respectively.

In the full-day camps, which run weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., participants will play tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball and more. Half-day campers will enjoy the same activities from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m.

For Worldgate members, a week of full-day and half-day camps cost $450 and $300, respectively. Non-members will pay $525 or $350 for a week of full-day or half-day camps, respectively.

Worldgate is also hosting a High Performance Spring Tennis Camp for yellow ball players 12 and older. The program is designed for tournament, high school, or advanced players, with an emphasis on advanced stroke production, conditioning, match-play, strategy, footwork, agility training and mental toughness, according to a release.

Worldgate is also accepting applications for its Summer Sports Camps that run weekdays from June 12 to Aug. 18. Children ages 5 to 12 in the full-day summer camp will participate in active sports, including tennis, basketball, soccer, dodgeball, pickleball, golf and volleyball. The same activities are offered for half-day campers, from either 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m.

For Worldgate members, summer camp is $450 (full-day) and $300 (half-day), with non-members paying $525/$350. After care will be offered from 4-6 p.m. for $15 a day or $70 for the entire week.

Registration is open for the High Performance Summer Tennis Camp, which runs 1-5 p.m., on weekdays from June 12 to Aug. 18, Open for advanced players 12 and older, the tennis camp costs $450 per week for members and $525 for non-members.
