Town of Herndon Seeks Architect to Serve on Review Board
Town residency is not required for the position.

The Town of Herndon is seeking an architect to serve on the town’s architectural and heritage preservation review boards (ARB-HPRB).
Members of the ARB-HPRB, appointed by the Herndon Town Council, determine whether property owners and builders are maintaining architecturally compatible qualities throughout the town and ensure that the historic integrity of buildings and sites is preserved in the town’s historic districts.

Town residency is not required to fill this position; the term for a qualified resident of the town is three years and for a qualified non-resident one year. The ARB-HPRB holds one work session and one public meeting per month. Board members receive $100 per month.
The Town of Herndon is also seeking applicants interested in serving on the town’s boards, commissions and advisory and ad hoc committees. Applications are available on the town website and at the clerk’s office in the Herndon Municipal Center, 777 Lynn St. A description of all boards and commissions is included on the application.
