Try Out Life On a Farm at Frying Pan
Bring your little one and help out with a variety of farm chores every other Thursday, including milking cows, feeding animals and more.

Think you're cut out for life on a farm? Well, Fairfax County's upcoming program will let you put that theory to the test.
The Junior Farmer Family Fun program gives parents and their little ones age 2 and up the chance to jump right in to life on the farm at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon.
Try your hands at milking the cows, feeding the animals, shelling corn and more as you find out what really goes into keeping a working farm moving along.

The program takes place every other Thursday at 4 p.m. from April 6 through June 15, and the activities will vary each week.
The cost is $7 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Frying Pan Farm Park is located at 2709 West Ox Road in the county portion of Herndon.
