• FCDOT proposes streets for testing reduced 20-mph speed limit (ffxnow.com) — Lake Barcroft residents may soon see 20-mph speed limits on Patrick Henry Drive, Beachway Drive, Nevius Street, and Peace Valley Lane as part of a Fairfax County pilot. The county is collecting survey feedback through Dec. 19 and plans to launch the test zones in summer 2026, measuring traffic speeds and public response before expanding to other districts.
