On Dec. 29, a homeowner in the 12700 block of Wood Hollow Drive in Lake Ridge reported the theft of $3800 worth of jewelry and other items. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 28. When police responded at 8:02 p.m. on Dec. 29, they found no signs that anyone had forced entry into the home. The burglar most likely got into the home through an unlocked window.
