Nokesville Man Charged With Shooting Into Occupied Dwelling
The arrest was in connection with the shooting into an occupied dwelling reported on June 22.

On Jan. 2, police arrested Richard Ocksrider, 20, of Nokesville, in connection with the incident on June 22, 2011.
The shooting left two residences in the 3000 block of Seminole with bullet holes.
Police later received identifying information about the accused.

During the police investigation, they found that the accused allegedly shot at one home after fighting with the homeowner. The other home was reportedly struck by accident.
No one was injured.

When a search warrant was executed at Ocksrider's house, police found two handguns and a sum of money.
Ocksrider was charged with two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of attempted malicious wounding.
His court date is Feb. 9. He is being held without bond.
