Occoquan Celebrates River Fest in May
The waterfront town celebrates life along the river.

River Fest returns to Occoquan on May 18, and Occoquan will spend the entire day in family-oriented activities celebrating the small waterfront town, the river that gives it its name, and the nearby Occoquan Regional Park.
River Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Miss River Shore will offer rides between the park and the town. The town will feature music, art, ghost tours, historical tours, and the park will feature science, kids' activities, a history paddle tour with Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta, fishing, and more.
Free parking is available at the park. Find directions to the park here. For more information on River Fest, see the Occoquan Watertrail League website.
