Shooting From Backyard Injures Man In Woodbridge Home: Police
Police are seeking a shooter after a man was injured by gunshots entering a home from the backyard.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was injured in a shooting from a backyard into a Woodbridge home Monday evening, according to Prince William County Police.
Around 6:57 p.m. Monday, police responded to the shooting in the 15600 block of John Diskin Circle in Woodbridge. Police say a 26-year-old man visiting the home was in the basement area when gunshots were fired from the backyard. The victim was struck once in the lower body and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the shooter left the area in a vehicle after the shooting. There were no other injuries or property damage reported. Police do not believe the shooting was random.
