Theft at Lake Ridge Apartment Occurs Within a Week of Fire

Only a few days after the devastating apartment fire of May 10, a resident in the same block reported a burglary.

Shortly after 9 a.m. on May 17, a resident of the 3600 block of Golf Side Circle in Lake Ridge reported the loss of $350 worth of DVDs, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

This is the same block that was devastated by the May 10 fire, forcing 35 residents to become temporarily homeless.

The resident did not know when the DVDs were stolen and was not able to narrow down the window of time in which it could have happened, saying that the burglary could have happened any time between 8 a.m. on May 12 and 7:45 a.m. on May 17.
