Christmas Tree Recycling for Leesburg Residents
CSI will collect live Christmas trees during the first two weeks of January from curbside trash customers.
From The City of Leesburg: Leesburg residents can put their live Christmas trees at the curb for recycling collection in January. CSI will collect Christmas trees on the following days:
SE/SW Quadrants Thursday, January 5, and Thursday, January 12, 2017
NE/NW Quadrants Friday, January 6, and Friday, January 13, 2017

Residents should prepare their trees for collection, using these tips:
· Remove all decorations. Check carefully for items hidden behind thicker branches or limbs.

· Remove tinsel, fake snow, angel hair and garlands.
· Remove all lights.
· Remove all twine, metal or plastic ties, and string.
· Remove stands and bases.
· Do not place trees in plastic tree disposal bags.
· Place trees at the curb the night before collection day.
Before January 5 and after January 13, town crews will collect live trees during brush collection, as long as the tree trunk is less than 6 inches in diameter. You must place the tree at the curb by Monday evenings for this service.
