Delays: Night Work on Leesburg Bypass Aug. 5-8
Expect delays and lane closures through Friday due to overnight roadwork along the Route 7/15 Bypass.
Drivers should expect delays Aug. 5-8 along the Route 7/15 Bypass due to removal of temporary concrete barriers, pavement milling and overlay, and pavement markings.
Lane closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night on the Bypass underneath the newly constructed Sycolin Road Bridge overpass.
Friday night’s lane closure could extend beyond 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 to complete the work. Work may be postponed to Saturday night in case of rain Friday.
