Dog Day Gala Saturday At Breaux Vineyards In Purcellville

PURCELLVILLE, VA—Calling all dog lovers, and those who aren't, well, you might want to skip this particular event. It's the annual Dog Day celebration at Breaux Vineyards, 36888 Breaux Vinyards Lane, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, May 11.

No, dogs won't be brazenly roaming the grounds. All attending canines must be on a leash at all times. Meanwhile, live music will be provided by area favorite Jim Steele, and the gathering will include wine tastings (shocker!), food vendors and treats for the dogs.

It's a competitive affair, as well. Mutts will be able to compete for the label of largest dog, smallest dog and coolest trick. Prizes will be in the offing.
