LEESBURG, VA — A fatal three-vehicle crash was reported on Route 15 near Leesburg on Tuesday morning, Virginia State Police officials said. Police said one person died in the crash. Two other people were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening, authorities said. Authorities have not identified the person who died in the crash as they work to identify their next of kin. Investigators said a vehicle was travelling south on Route 15 near Little Oatlands Lane before the crash. The vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into two northbound vehicles, Virginia State Police said. Authorities are still investigating what could have caused the crash.
