Fatal Leesburg Crash On Route 15 Kills 18-Year-Old Man: Police
An 18-year-old man from Leesburg died on Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Route 15 near Edwards Ferry Road NE, police said.
LEESBURG, VA — An 18-year-old man died after a crash in Leesburg on Saturday morning, according to a report from the Leesburg Police Department. The crash occurred on Route 15 around 3 a.m., police said.
Authorities identified the man as George Mwesigwa, a Leesburg resident. The police department said he died at a hospital after the crash.
A tractor trailer driver suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to the police report.

The crash occurred on southbound Route 15, authorities said. When officers arrived on the scene, they found an SUV and a tractor trailer on the shoulder of the road near the Tractor Supply store.
First responders took Mwesigwa, the SUV driver, to the hospital. He died at the hospital from injuries suffered in the crash, police said.
