Giving Tuesday is all about generosity — and some of the most meaningful giving happens right here at home. Celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday shifts the focus from finding deals to doing good. But there’s no reason to wait — or stop once the day has passed.
This year, Patch and T-Mobile are spotlighting organizations in the Leesburg area that are making a difference and helping others in need. These local groups are doing important work, and there are plenty of ways to support them — from donating and volunteering to spreading the word. This isn’t a complete list, but it’s a great place to start, so be sure to reach out to each organization directly to learn how you can help.
Loudoun Cares
Loudoun Cares is an organization in Loudoun County that works to connect individuals, corporations and non-profits in the area to provide meaningful impact and support where needed. Loudoun Hunger Relief
Loudoun Hunger Relief is an emergency grocery pantry providing nutritious food for all in need in Loudoun County. Donations of all forms are accepted via food or money. Individual and group volunteers are welcome to assist the cause. Visit the VolunteerHub to sign up to lend a hand.

Mobile Hope
Down the road in Ashburn, Mobile Hope serves at-risk youth and those experiencing homelessness up to age 24, providing non-judgmental services and leadership opportunities. Volunteers can get involved in a variety of ways with Mobile Hope, including sorting donations, packing food bags, working in the Mobile Hope store or pantry and much more.
