Leesburg Man Charged With Murder In Father's Death: Police
Schuyler Lake has been charged with second degree murder in connection with a suspicious death investigation
LEESBURG, VA — A 21-year-old Leesburg man has been charged with murder in connection with his father's death, according to the Leesburg Police Department.
Schuyler Lake is facing a second degree murder charge and also is charged with credit card fraud and credit card theft. He is being held at Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond, and there are currently no other suspects in the case, according to authorities.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. Saturday, authorities were called to a home in the 400 block of South King Street where they found Dean Lake, 57, of Leesburg dead with injuries to his upper body. Schuyler was arrested near Russell Branch Parkway Southeast and Battlefield Parkway Southeast later that day.
