Leesburg Toys for Tots Campaign Accepting Donations

Collection boxes for new, unwrapped toys will be located at five Town of Leesburg facilities.

From the Town of Leesburg: The Town of Leesburg is partnering once again with the Loudoun County Marine Corps League-Detachment 1205 to sponsor this year’s National Toys for Tots campaign. Toys collected will be distributed solely within Loudoun County.

Toy donations will be accepted at five drop-off locations at Town of Leesburg facilities, beginning on Monday, November 28, 2016:

  • Town Hall, 25 West Market Street
  • Thomas Balch Library, 208 West Market Street
  • Leesburg Police Department, 65 Plaza Street NE
  • Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW
  • Leesburg Executive Airport, 1001 Sycolin Road SE

Donated toys should be new, unwrapped and appropriate for children ages newborn to 16. Donations will be accepted through Thursday, December 15, 2016. Monetary donations may be given directly to the local branch of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation by visiting their website at http://loudoun-va.toysfortots.org or make out a check payable to “Marine Toys for Tots Foundation” and mail it to: Marine Corps League, Toys for Tots, PO Box 162, Purcellville, VA 20135.
