Loudoun County Auction Closes Thursday

Online sale includes vehicles, bicycles, computers, among other items

Loudoun County's most recent online auction of surplus goods is scheduled to close at 3 p.m. Thursday.

The county sells surplus items — like vehicles, bicycles, computers, laptops, file cabinets, recliners, and other computer equipment — through Public Surplus, a service created for public agencies.

Interested bidders must be registered with www.publicsurplus.com. Registration is free. Bidders are not charged a fee to use the service.

The county also operates a Surplus Store from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  on the second Friday and the last Saturday of the month. The store is located at 14 Cardinal Park Drive, Suite 106, Leesburg.
