LEESBURG, VA — Loudoun County officials announced Wednesday that the county's Homeless Services Center has reopened after an extensive renovation, which prompted a temporary relocation. The facility has resumed providing services at 19520 Meadowview Court in Leesburg.

The $1.3 million renovation included replacement of the building's plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling equipment, the county said in a statement. It also included replacing the system that controls and monitors the building’s mechanical and electrical equipment, the replacement of drywall and flooring, and an upgrade of the fire and safety systems.

“I am proud of the way our community came together to help us provide services to those in need during the winter while the renovations were underway, including businesses, faith-based organizations and many other volunteers,” said Glenda Blake, director of the Loudoun County Department of Family Services, in the statement.
