Pardoned Turkeys Headed to Morven Park in Leesburg

"Mac" and "Cheese," the two turkeys pardoned by President Obama Wednesday, will soon take up residence at "Turkey Hill" in Leesburg.

The two turkeys pardoned by President Barack Obama Wednesday, Nov. 26 will live out the rest of their lives in luxury in Leesburg.

Dubbed “Mac” and “Cheese,” the turkeys are set to enjoy their Thanksgiving holiday in “Turkey Hill,” the historic turkey farm at Morven Park in Leesburg. There they will meet Caramel and Franklin, last year’s two lucky birds. This is the estate’s second year housing pardoned turkeys.

The president pardoned Cheese and his alternate, Mac, both 20-week-old turkeys named by Ohio students and Morven Park visitors. Both turkeys came from Copper Farms in Oakwood, Ohio.
