Pedestrian Dies In Lovettsville Crash On Friday: Police
Authorities said a 73-year-old man died after he was hit by a vehicle in Lovettsville on Friday night.
LOVETTSVILLE, VA — A 73-year-old pedestrian died after a vehicle hit him on Friday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Police identified the man as Kenneth Burdette Henderson, a Lovettsville Resident.
The initial report from the sheriff's office offered limited details. Authorities said the crash occurred around 11:50 p.m. on Friday near N. Berlin Turnpike and Bavarian Way.

Investigators said Henderson was not in a crosswalk when the crash occurred. Authorities believe that speed and driver impairment were not factors in the crash. The driver stayed at the scene, according to police.
