Police: Driver Who Crashed Car with Daughter Inside Faces Felony Charges

A Pennsylvania man who was reportedly driving drunk with his daughter in the car Sunday night crashed into an embankment in Leesburg.

A Pennsylvania man faces DUI and felony child endangerment charges after reportedly crashing his car into an embankment in Leesburg Sunday.

Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an erratic driver around the James Monroe Highway/Whites Ferry Road area in Leesburg shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday.

Officers reportedly found the car in an embankment. The driver and his juvenile daughter were found inside the vehicle uninjured.

The driver, Sean T. McFarland, 45, of Waynesboro, Pa., was charged with DUI and felony child endangerment. The child was turned over to a family member.
