PURCELLVILLE, VA—Solemn speeches and a 21-gun salute will highlight the town's Memorial Day ceremony Monday, May 27th, beginning at 11:45 a.m. outside Purcellville Town Hall, 221 South Nursery Avenue. Here's a look at the planned proceedings:

- Remarks by guest speaker, Gunnery Sergeant Kent Murray, United States Marine Corps, Retired (2010)
- Remarks by Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (VA-10)

NOTE: Traffic will be diverted in the area of the teardrop intersection from approximately 11:55 a.m.-12:05 p.m. This will impact traffic on Main Street from Hatcher Avenue to 21st Street, and from Nursery Avenue and 20th Street onto Main Street.
