Racist, Antisemitic Writing Found In Leesburg High School: Police

For the second time in two weeks, authorities are investigating racist writings found in a bathroom at a high school in Leesburg.

LEESBURG, VA — Racist writing was found in a bathroom at a high school in Leesburg, the Leesburg Police Department said. Authorities reported racist and antisemitic graffiti at Loudoun County High School on Thursday.

It's the second time in two weeks that the police department has announced an investigation into racist writing at a Leesburg school. On Jan. 11, police officials reported racist writing in three bathrooms at Heritage High School.

"There is no place in our society for this type of hateful behavior," the police department said in a news release. "The Leesburg Police Department takes such reprehensible actions seriously."

The grafitti wasn't the only racist incident reported in Loudoun County on Thursday. In Waterford, Hamilton, and Purcellville, residents found white propaganda flyers in their driveways, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Loudoun deputies found 50 flyers, but police officials do not believe any particular home was targeted.
