Two Teens Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries In Fiery Crash On Route 7: Police
Two teens suffered life-threatening injuries after their Dodge Challenger crashed and caught fire on Route 7, police said.
LEESBURG, VA — Two teens suffered life-threatening injuries in a fiery single-vehicle crash on Route 7 on Saturday morning, police said. Authorities are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
The Leesburg Police Department has not released a possible cause for the crash.
Authorities noted that one of the teens, a juvenile, was driving the 2020 Dodge Challenger when it crashed. Another teen, who police said is an adult, was a passenger in the car.

Leesburg police officers learned of the crash around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. When officers arrived on the scene on westbound East Market Street near Battlefield Parkway, they found the Dodge Challenger on fire.
Authorities said one of the teens was trapped in the car and had to be removed by first responders. Emergency personnel took the teens to a nearby hospital where they received treatment for life-threatening injuries. Authorities did not have an update on the condition of the teens on Monday.
