Stolen Pistol, Possession of Marijuana and Arrests in Lorton

Here's a look at criminal activity in Lorton from Aug. 8-15, as reported by the Franconia and West Springfield District Police Stations.

Last week across Fairfax County, there were 30 domestic violence-related charges, 79 illegal drug-related charges and 71 DWI-related charges.

Two men were caught allegedly breaking into a business in the 9900 block of Richmond Highway. Police arrested Anthony Kemp, 26, and Irvin Reynolds, 55, both of Washington, D.C., shortly after midnight on Aug. 13. The pair were charged with burglary.
A 2006 Honda motorcycle was stolen from the 8100 block of Halley Court.
A 9mm pistol and holster were stolen from a vehicle in the 7600 block of Sheffield Village Lane.

A 50-year-old woman living in the 7500 block of Cullum Street was arrested on Aug. 9 for violating her parole.
A 48-year-old woman living in the 7816 block of Stovall Court was arrested Aug. 9 for owning an unlicensed dog.
A 50-year-old woman living in the 7700 block of Wolford Way was arrested Aug. 9 for owning an unlicensed dog.
An 18-year-old man living in the 7700 block of Grandwind Drive was arrested for possession of marijuana on Aug. 12.
An 18-year-old man living in the 7600 block of Oakridge Woods was arrested for possession of marijuana on Aug. 12.
An 18-year-old man living in the 7800 block of Shepherd Hills Court was arrested on Aug. 12 for possession of marijuana.
An 18-year-old man living in the 8000 block of Annette Drive was arrested Aug. 12 for possession of marijuana.
A 51-year-old woman living in the 8300 block of Linden Oaks Court was arrested for reckless driving on Aug. 12.
A 50-year-old man living in the 9000 block of Lancer Ridge Court was arrested for DWI on Aug. 13.
An 18-year-old man living in the 9200 block of Cardinal Forest Lane was arrested on Aug. 13 for possession of marijuana.
An 18-year-old man living in the 8900 block of Igoe Street was arrested on Aug. 13 for possession of marijuana.
A 22-year-old man living in the 7700 block of Wolford Way was arrested Aug. 14 for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor. His license was also revoked.
