The Workhouse Arts Center's ArtNotes concert series presents the U.S. Navy Band's Windjammers Woodwind Quintet on Saturday, November 5 at 7:30pm, on the second floor of Gallery W-16.* Formed in 1985, the Windjammers woodwind quintet maintains a varied repertoire dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries. Woodwind quintet members are often featured soloists with the Concert Band.
Led by Senior Chief Musician Luellyn Dollard, flute, the quintet also includes Chief Musician Richard Reed, oboe; Musician 1st Class Jon Agazzi, clarinet; Musician 1st Class Jennifer Stokes, bassoon; and Musician 1st Class Thomas Wheeler, French horn.
*This is a free concert, but tickets are required. Ticket holders should arrive early as unused seating will open to the public 15 minutes prior to concert.
