"There is no better teacher than a loss like this," said Hayfield coach Roy Hill to his team after the game. "But you've got to pick yourselves back up. Do you think Yorktown is going to feel sorry for you next week? I don't think so."
The Hawks face Yorktown at home on Friday, Sept. 21. Gametime is 7:30 p.m.
