
A male suspect is in custody after an attempted burglary in the 9200 block of Lee Masey Drive in Lorton. The unidentified man was arrested near the home.
Fairfax County Police were called at around 11:30 a.m., after it was reported by a neighbor that a man was acting suspiciously near the home.
The home was broken into, but it is not clear if the suspect had any of the stolen property with him when he was arrested, according to Fairfax County Police.

"The suspect is, in fact, being detained on another warrant for a previous burglary," said Fairfax County Police officer Eddie Azcarate. "He was caught pretty quickly today, fortunately."
It is not clear whether the alleged suspect acted alone, and Police continued their search for additional suspects after the arrest.
