The Oakton Cougars (2-0) bested the South County Stallions on Friday night in Lorton 28-21.
The Stallions are now 0-2, and the loss can be attributed to forced turnovers.
"Pick your heads up!" said South County coach Gerry Pannoni to his team after the game. "We're a lot closer to being a great team this year than we were at this point last year, believe it or not."
