Stolen Copper, an iPhone and Arrests in Lorton

Here's a look at criminal activity in Lorton from Aug. 2-8, as reported by the Franconia and West Springfield District Police Stations.

Last week across Fairfax County, there were 32 Domestic violence-related charges, 88 Illegal drug-related charges and 64 DWI-related charges.

There was one crime event listed from the Franconia Police District:

  • Copper was stolen from a business in the 9900 block of Richmond Highway on Aug. 8, at around 9:50 a.m. The suspect forced his or her way through a side door.

There were two crime events listed from the West Springfield Police District:

  • Merchandise was stolen from a business in the 8900 block of Ox Road.
  • An iPhone was stolen from a residence in the 8500 block of Silverbrook Road.

  • A 36-year-old woman living in the 8900 block of Titleist Trail was arrested for making a false report to police on Aug. 6.
  • A 21-year-old man living in the 8300 block of Stationhouse Court was arrested Aug. 6, for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor offense.
  • A 36-year-old woman living in the 8900 block of Jandell Road was arrested for keeping an unlicensed dog on Aug. 3.
  • An 18-year-old man living in the 8000 block of George Fox Plac was arrested on a first offense of possession of marijuana on Aug. 7.
  • A 24-year-old woman living in the 9200 block of Wildwood Street was arrested for grand larceny and selling stolen property on Aug. 7.
  • A 21-year-old man living in the 6800 block of Springfield Drive was arrested on Aug. 2 for possession of marijuana, public drunkenness and possession of an open container.
