Peter Pan and Captain Hook and the Fairies 

Sat. July 27 at the Workhouse Arts Center, 9601 Ox Rd., Lorton Showtime is at 1:00 p.m. It’s the last children’s show at the Workhouse until the fall!
Tickets cost $12 for adults and $8 for children under 12

Birding Hike and More at Gunston Hall 

Sat. July 27, at Gunston Hall Plantation, 10709 Gunston Rd., Lorton 11:00 a.m. The hour-long program is being led by a park ranger from Mason Neck State Park. Regular admission - $10 adults, $8 seniors, $5 kids ages 6-18 and free for kids under 6. The following day, on Sunday, reenactors dressed as George Mason’s family, friends and servants will discuss politics, play games and perform the domestic skills of 18th century Virginia. Regular admission prices. 

Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series

Listen to the sounds of musician Debi Smith on Saturday night at the Workhouse Arts Center. The performance is part of the Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series, and begins at 7:00 p.m.
The concert is free! 


Giant Moving Sale 
Sat., July 27 at 8411 Silverdale Ct., Lorton.
The sale, which starts at 8:00 a.m., includes: Bookshelves, desks, glassware, books, toys, games and more.
