Hit-And-Run Injures Bicyclist Near I-66 Interchange In Manassas Area: Police

Prince William County Police are seeking information on a hit-and-run that sent a bicyclist to the hospital.

MANASSAS, VA — A bicyclist was struck in a hit-and-run Monday near an Interstate 66 interchange, according to Prince William County Police.

The crash happened around 2:13 p.m. Monday in the area of Sudley Road and the I-66 interchange. Police say the bicyclist, a 33-year-old man, was riding on northbound Sudley Road when an unknown vehicle struck him. The driver did not stop and continued onto eastbound I-66.

The bicyclist went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses told police the striking vehicle may have been a black Honda Civic with damage to the front left area.
