Candidate Forum To Feature 7th, 10th Congressional District Hopefuls
With early voting about to start, Prince William County voters can hear from candidates in its two congressional districts.

MANASSAS, VA — Prince William County's voters will have the seventh or 10th congressional district race on the ballot in November, depending on where they live. On Tuesday, a candidate forum is being hosted three days before early voting begins.
The Prince William County NAACP, Coalition for Action and Prince William Chamber of Commerce will host the 7th and 10th Congressional Forum from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Metz Middle School, 9950 Wellington Rd, Manassas, VA. A reception starts at 6:30 p.m., followed by the candidate forum.
Voters will have a chance to hear from candidates as they consider the ballot for November's general election. Candidates confirmed to be participating are Democrat Eugene Vindman and Republican Derrick Anderson in the seventh congressional district race and Democrat Suhas Subramanyam in the 10th congressional district race. WUSA9 anchor Larry Miller will moderate the forum.

It is unclear is Republican candidate Mike Clancy in the 10th congressional district will attend. All candidates were invited to the debate.
The 10th congressional district seat is open as Rep. Jennifer Wexton retires after being diagnosed with a severe form of Parkinson’s Disease. The seventh congressional district seat is also open as Rep. Abigail Spanberger runs for Virginia governor in 2025. The 10th district covers the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, as well as parts of western Prince William County. The seventh district covers remaining eastern and southern parts of the county.

The forum is nonpartisan and is open to the public. In-person attendees are asked to register online. A live stream will be available through the Prince William Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
