Hit-And-Run Vehicle Identified In Jogger Crash In Manassas: Cops
Authorities have partially identified the vehicle of a wanted hit-and-run driver who sent a jogger over a bridge Dec. 7 in Manassas: Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Authorities have partially identified the vehicle of a wanted hit-and-run driver who sent a jogger over a bridge and onto a rocky embankment Dec. 7 on Lake Jackson Drive near Dumfries Road, according to Prince William County Police. It's a "2002-2010 black Toyota," and is believed to have sustained damage to the front passenger side.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Dec.7, police went to the area for a possible missing person. An 18-year-old man's parents said he called them to say he was hurt and couldn't remember anything. After an extensive search, police found him over the side of a bridge embankment.
They found that the man was running on the east side of Lake Jackson Drive when he was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime between 4:45 and 5:24 p.m. He fell off the bridge and landed on a rocky embankment below. The vehicle left the scene, and the man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
