Man Sexually Assaults 4-Year-Old In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested April 17 after sexually assaulting a child at a Manassas home in 2009, Prince William County Police announced Tuesday, April 30. Yury Arnold Flores Marroquin, 34, of the 300 block of Talbot Avenue in Laurel, Md., was charged with forcible sodomy and taking indecent liberties with a child. He's being held without bond.

On Dec. 28, 2018, police began investigating a sexual assault reported to have occurred in 2009. They found that the victim, who was between the age of 4 and 5 years old at the time, was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion by Flores Marroquin. Police obtained multiple warrants for his arrest, and he turned himself in April 17.
