Homeowners Association To Host Candidate Forum For Manassas School Board
The eight candidates for Manassas City School Board were invited to a forum coming up Monday evening.

MANASSAS, VA — Voters will get to hear from candidates for Manassas City School Board at a panel discussion being hosted by the Bristoe Station homeowners association.
Four at-large Manassas City School Board seats are up for election on Nov. 4, 2024. Candidates include Christina Brooks, Diana Brown, Allie Forkell, Javanese Hailey, Zella Jones, Dayna-Marie Miles, Suzanne Seaberg and Maidy Whitesell. Brooks and Seaberg are incumbents seeking re-election, and the other six candidates would be newcomers to the School Board.
The panel discussion will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19 at Bristoe Station Park, 9118 Wharton Court, Manassas, VA. All eight candidates have been invited to the forum. A meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m. will proceed the forum.

The panel discussion will be non-partisan, and the Bristoe Station will not endorse candidates. The audience will get a chance to ask questions. A live stream will be available for those who do not attend in person.
The Manassas City School Board seats are on the November ballot in addition to Manassas mayor and three City Council seats. Federal races on the ballot in Manassas include president, Sen. Tim Kaine's U.S. Senate and 10th congressional district.
