Missing Gainesville Found Safe: UPDATE

UPDATE: Diego Alexander Soares has been located and is safe, say PWC Police.

GAINESVILLE, VA—Authorities are looking for a missing man who may be endangered, according to Prince William County Police. Diego Alexander Soares, 19, of Gaffney Circle, is described as white, 5-4, 180 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police say Soares made concerning statements during a phone conversation with a family member 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 17. He left the area April 11 to travel to California, where he may be in the Marin County or San Francisco area. He may be driving a 2018 black four-door Subaru WRX with Virginia tags UWW-6123.
