Missing Teen Girls Sought In Bristow: UPDATE
UPDATE: Authorities have found one of two endangered teen girls not seen since leaving the Youth For Tomorrow facility April 21: PWC Police.
UPDATE: Zamari Laree Scarbrough has been found and is safe but Amaya Nicole Garcia remains missing. No further details were immediately available.
BRISTOW, VA—Authorities are looking for two endangered teen girls not seen since leaving the Youth For Tomorrow facility off Linton Hall Road April 21, according to Prince William County Police. Amaya Nicole Garcia, 16, is described as 5-6, 140 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Zamari Laree Scarbrough, 15, is described as 5-0, 137 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police say they voluntarily left the group home for at-risk youths April 21 with several other juveniles. The others have been located but Garcia and Scarbrough remain missing. Scarbrough is believed to be in the region but Garcia may be attempting to return to California. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
