MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are investigating two suspicious fires early Friday, May 3, in the 10200 block of Hendley Road that may be related, according to Manassas City Police. One involved a vehicle; the other, a nearby residence.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police responded to the scene to assist the fire department with a vehicle fire. While crews extinguished the blaze, the fire department received a report of the smell of gasoline coming from a nearby home.
