LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A fentanyl and cocaine bust by undercover cops in Loudoun County led to a 14-year prison sentence for a Manassas man, according to prosecutors.

The Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney announced the sentence of Brian Alexander Snyder, 27, of Manassas, in Loudoun County Circuit Court. The sentence stems from two counts of possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I or II substance (fentanyl and cocaine), and one count of simultaneous possession of a firearm and a schedule I or II substance. The 14-year sentence by Judge James E. Plowman was above the Virginia sentencing guidelines range of three to ten years.

According to prosecutors, undercover detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office arranged a purchase from Snyder in March. He arrived with over 32 grams of cocaine and 134 pills that contained fentanyl. Detectives found a handgun in the driver side door of Snyder's vehicle.
