2 Adults, Children Aged 2 and 8 Found Dead In Manassas Park Home
Manassas Park Police have identified the two adults found dead, along with a 2-year-old and 8-year-old, in a suspected murder-suicide.

MANASSAS PARK, VA — The names of two adults who were found dead in a Manassas Park home Thursday night were released by police Friday afternoon. Two children were also dead at the house, in what authorities said may have been a murder-suicide.
Around 10:40 p.m. Thursday, Manassas Park Police responded to a home in the 9400 block of Lanae Lane. In a downstairs apartment, officers found two adults and two children who were deceased.

Police said all four victims had apparent gunshot wounds, and a gun was found at the home.
Police identified the adults as Santosh Pariyar, 38, and Anju Shrestha, 36. The children were a 2-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl. According to WTOP, one child attended Manassas Park Public Schools.

The bodies were taken to the medical examiner for autopsies.
The 911 call had come from the homeowner, who wanted a welfare check on his tenants.
Mustafa Musaferzada has lived in the neighborhood for four years and told WTOP he slept little wondering what had happened.
“It was just scary for us last night,” he said.
Musaferzada said the people who lived in the home seemed like a “nice family.”
The investigation remains active.
