2 Dead After House Fire In Manassas, Fundraiser For Family Says
A fundraiser for the family says two relatives died after their rescue from the house fire.
MANASSAS, VA — Two residents have died after Monday's house fire in Manassas, according to a GoFundMe started for the family.
The fire happened around 1:37 p.m. Monday at a three-story townhouse in the 7900 block of Flager Circle in the Bull Run neighborhood. Firefighters rescued two residents from the home. However, a GoFundMe created to support the Arthur family says the two people died overnight at the hospital. The fundraiser identified them as the mother and grandmother of a woman who also lives at the home with her husband, son and dog.
The others were able to escape the house fire. The husband was injured in the house fire but was treated and released from the hospital.
