Nonprofit Receives Grant from The Giving Circle of Heritage Hunt

Funds Will Help Meets Needs at Elementary Schools in Manassas

Assistance League of Northern Virginia was honored recently to receive a grant from The Giving Circle of Heritage Hunt. The Giving Circle includes 175 generous residents of Heritage Hunt, in Gainesville, who pool their individual contributions to help charitable organizations in Prince William County. Assistance League has been chosen several times previously by this organization and the charity was gratified to be selected again in 2021 for an award. This year, 14 nonprofits received awards totaling $72,000 from The Giving Circle for causes that address needs in the community such as food, clothing, shelter, literacy, and mental health. The grant received by Assistance League will be used to help food-insecure students at elementary schools in Manassas.
