School officially started for students on Tuesday but for fall athletics, the season has been underway since August. Here's a brief look at where MPHS teams currently stand and the upcoming games for some of the fall sports. Football  <a href="http://manassasparkathletics.org/index.cfm?action=main.team&amp;ID=36962" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Ninth grade football</a> lost their first game of the season 0-24 against Skyline in an away game on Tuesday. The freshman football team will play at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the Manassas Park High School stadium.  The varisty football team plays Arcardia on Saturday in Oak Hill, VA at 2 p.m.  Volleyball <a href="http://manassasparkathletics.org/index.cfm?action=main.team&amp;ID=36957" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Girls varsity volleyball</a> lost to Park View high school in a Wednesday home match. The team's next match is against Potomac High School at 7 p.m. at Manassas Park High School. According to the school's athletic website, the varsity volleyball team is 0-4.  <a href="http://manassasparkathletics.org/index.cfm?action=main.team&amp;ID=36958" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The girls junior varsity </a>volleyball team also lost against Park View Wednesday.
