On the silver screen Thursday, Dec 18 at 7 pm, is the premiere of a locally-produced documentary. ¡Hola, paisano! examines Mexican-American bakery owners Hugo Hernández and Berenice Rodriguez, who harness the power of food to provide for their families, create belonging, dream big, and find peace. Partially funded by an Arts Council of the Valley Advancing the Arts Creative Inspiration grant, the film (subtitled in English and Spanish) will be followed by a panel discussion - and cake! Admission is pay-what-you-will.
