32nd Annual Middle Eastern Food Festival Returns To McLean

MCLEAN, VA — Holy Transfiguration Melkite Greek-Catholic Church in McLean is preparing for a celebration of culture, cuisine, and community at the 32nd Annual Middle Eastern Food Festival on Aug. 30 and 31.

Attendees can enjoy Middle Eastern favorites such as Kibbeh, Shish Kabob, Roast Lamb, Falafel, and more. Tables will be overflowing with decadent pastries like Baklawa, Maamoul, Ghraybeh, and the heavenly Atayef

The two-day festival will also feature live Arabic music, joyful dancing, and a chance to join the Dabke, a high-energy folk line dance. There will also be a moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, petting zoo, and games galore. Browse vendor booths, explore church tours, and soak in the famous hospitality.

Don’t Miss the “Hafli” at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, the party heats up with traditional music and dancing under the stars.

Festival hours are Saturday, Aug. 30: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 31: 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.,rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.
