9 charities receive funds from Woman's Club of McLean

On June 3,2025, the Woman’s Club of McLean supported 9 local charities. Five representatives accepted checks personally at the McLean Community Center. These included :representatives from Jill’s House, Transitional Housing for Vets receiving rehab , the McLean Station 1 Fire Department, the McLean Police Station and Share. Others also receiving our support include Second Story, Lemon Road Day Care the Wolf Trap Animal Shelter and Friends of Pleasant Grove. Earlier in the year, the Woman’s Club also gave awards to middle school star musicians from Cooper and Longfellow and award to Safety patrol members and crossing guards from the McLean Elementary Schools.

Also that day, the Club’s new officers were inducted and a pot luck lunch was served to members and guests during the business meeting and reports from the Committees.
