ICYMI: Cava Grill Coming to McLean Shopping Center
Fast-casual Mediterranean eatery has applied for building permits at location in McLean Shopping Center.

McLEAN, VA -- Cava Grill plans to open a location at the McLean Shopping Center, according to building permits issued by Fairfax County to the company.
The location is 1445C Chain Bridge Road (see map below) next door to McLean Hardware. The eatery specializes in fast-casual Greek food. See the entire menu here. Read about Yelp reviewers' experiences at the Tysons location here.
Other nearby locations for the popular Mediterranean eatery include Mosaic District, Tysons, Alexandria, National Airport, Ashburn and Fairfax. The company also plans to open new locations in the area in Vienna, Sterling and Gainesville.

The company hasn't started hiring yet for the McLean location but it offers an hourly rate starting at $13/hour, a benefits package including health, dental, vision and pet insurance for eligible employees; a 50 percent discount for employee and a guest at their "home" restaurant when not working; 401k enrollment with company match after 1 year; free Cava Grill food during shifts; free uniforms and paid 30-minute meal breaks.
Most Cava Grill openings include a Community Day, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., encouraging patrons to make a donation to City Blossoms, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering healthy communities by developing creative, kid-driven green spaces.

All of Cava Grill’s new locations will feature the restaurant’s fresh look, with:
- An expanded open-kitchen layout
- Local beer and wine on tap
- New menu items including seasonal vegetables roasted in Cava’s new stone-fired ovens
- Rotating seasonal soups, juices, and teas made in-house daily
- Products from local partners like local bakery Whisked!, Gordy’s Pickle Jar and RunningByrd Tea
